An individual counseling session with me always starts with respect. Respect for the individual as they currently are. Respect for where a person has been, what they have endured, and what they have accomplished..

After a consultation by phone, we can schedule a 60-minute individual session.
In session, we will do some assessment, and develop a treatment plan. This includes your treatment goals, and how we might track progress around these goals. We look at different therapies and methods that would be helpful, and then, based on what seems right to you, proceed toward your goals.
Some of the therapies and traditions that inform my practice include: Gestalt Therapy, DBT, Hakomi, EMDR, Somatic therapy, and Trauma Release Exercises.
